Wonderful staff, service and hospital layout! I was filled with extreme anxiousness...2 ligaments were torn off my pelvis and I just wanted to walk again, pain free. Everyone reassured me I was in the best place with an amazing Dr. JOST. From beginning to end, nothing could have been better than what I received. Thank you for taking care of me!

I had 2 carpal tunnel surgeries here. They happened in August 2024 and September 2024. The care I received was exemplary. From the moment I walked in until I left, each person I encountered was kind, helpful and professional. FROM THE DAY I WAS CONTACTED ABOUT BECOMING A NEW PATIENT I WAS GREETED BY VERY DEDICATED POLITE PROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL.THE SURGEON DR. MIDDLETON WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AS TO THE OPERATION I WAS NEEDING TO HAVE DONE.DR. MIDDLETON EXPLAINED HOW THE WHOLE PROCESURE WOULD BE PERFORMED.THE MORNING OF SURGERY I ARRIVED EARLY AND WAS GREETED BY DR. Dr. Meister and his entire crew have been one of my best experiences in having to have a surgery to repair finger damage d/t an accident. All have been personable, kind, patient, and thorough in doing each of their jobs, from my beginning in his office to discharge on day of surgery. (I mentioned the names of those who stood out in my last attempt to convey my personal gratitude, but that message was blocked. I guess saying a personal "thank you" to those staff is not politically acceptable... too bad. Those wonderfully efficient, pleasant folks deserve to know they did one heck of a job... I am just an old retired ER RN, but I know "excellent care w/heart and dedication" when I see and experience it... Dr. Meister, very well done, and thank you, for your awesome office and surgical crew !!

On November 12, 2024, I had surgery on my right knee at Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin in Glendale, Wisconsin.I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire team for their excellent preparation, professional atmosphere, and light-hearted interaction with me. The entire team at each step of my experience made me confident and comfortable with the operation in front of me. From the security person that did the early morning check-in, the nurse checking me into the surgery department, the nurse giving me the fashionable outfit for the surgery, the nurse that filled in my chart, the tech that showed me how to swing on those crutches, the nurse who set me up to go to SLEEP and miss the whole party, that smiling face that put me on the rolling bed and drove me carefully to the operating room, and at last, ALL those smiling faces in the OR that adjusted things and chatted with me as the put me to sleep. I enjoyed each of you.Lastly .... my sincere thanks to the doctor for an excellent experience. He has a great bedside manner and I felt I was in good hands throughout my time with the entire team.Thanks to All,James (Jim) MirkesP.S. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin. Everything from admissions to pre and post operative care was exceptional. The food was great, the chef even comes to your room to see if you enjoyed your meal…when does that happen elsewhere? My surgeon, the nurses and both physical and occupational therapists were attentive to my needs. I would recommend this hospital whole heartedly.

I have worked with several physical therapists at the Cedarburg OHOW office for various ailments. Currently, I am working with Kathy Weiland. She is using dry needling (along with massage) as a therapeutic treatment for pain and stiffness associated with a knee injury. The dry needling is amazing as she is able to target and release muscular trigger points that are causing pain and limiting my mobility. Thank you Kathy!

I had a TKR at this hospital on September 6, 2023. The surgeon who did the surgery was Dr. John Kroner - one of a great attributes doctors known. Wonderful, wonderful experience at this facility. The hospital was very clean from front door to inpatient room. Staffs was very caring and friendly. And the food is delicious and made to order…even got a personal in-room visited from the chef himself to see if food was satisfactory. I just can not say enough how much I appreciate being well taken care off during my short 3 days stay. Dr. Kroner is one of the best and experienced orthopedic surgeon in the area. I am 9 weeks post-op and recovering well ROM 106/01 and going… I do have a LT-TKR coming up in 6months and looking forward to it…Never thought I would say this 👍😉 Thank you again! I would highly recommend this hospital…Keep it up 👍Update: Had my 2nd TKR (Lt.) 2weeks ago, Oct. 29, 2024. As expected - Second time’s the charm… Dr. Kroner never missed a beat…his insight and expertise is never to be disappointed. Hospital stays was still a charm. Super caring staffs (nursing team, aides and PT/OT) and always friendly. Thank you again, Amy, Adam, Annette and, lovely and always smell so nice , Nea… You guys make my recovery much easier and less stressful. I am home recovering nicely. Thank you again and God Blessed you all, much love❤️

My care at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin was fantastic. My main nurses Amy, Adam & Erin were outstanding in their care. Anna the PT was excellent as well. Everyone was so attentive and concerned that I was as comfortable as possible. They kept me in the loop as to what they were doing and why. The facility was clean and quiet. I honestly was in no rush to go home the day after my total knee replacement.

I had Carpal tunnel surgery on 10/9/2024 at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wiconsin. My experience was well above expectations. The staff and nursing care seemed to be concentrated on my well being and getting things done in a caring but efficent manner. The Anesthesiologist explained the procedure in a way that made me feel confortable and last but not least, my hand surgeon Dr. Greg Watchmaker is the best!

This is my 2nd personal experience with OHOW, and the 4th for our family. For all procedures Dr. David Meister has been our physician/surgeon. Orthopedic Hospitals of Wisconsin has an incredibly kind staff with wonderful beside manner. They do everything possible to make sure you are as comfortable as possible leading up to your procedure, and answer any and all questions that you have.While your family is waiting they will receive text messages about the status of your procedure as well as a notification when you are moved to recovery. OHOW also has a very nice cafeteria where those waiting may purchase food, coffee, snacks.Following your time in the OR, in the initial recovery area, they don’t rush you, but rather ensure are comfortable before moving you to the recovery II/discharge area. There you are joined by your family member/ride and given a snack with juice or coffee and explained your post-op instructions. You and your support person change you into your clothes (behind a curtain), but the nursing staff will assist if you ask. Once you are situated and ready, a member of the staff will bring you to the 1st floor entrance by wheelchair for discharge. Your ride will bring around the vehicle and they not only helped me into the car, but buckled me as well.I cannot recommend OHOW enough! I don’t feel like just another patient being pushed through the checklist so her bed is open for the next in line. But rather like an individual, like Jenna, a 40yo mother of 3 who is having surgery. Extra precautions are taken to reduce infection, which I’ve not seen done elsewhere, and other special touches are present. Like when my 7yo son was treated for a broken arm, he was given a stuffed animal in the prep-room to ease his fear. He still has it, a year and a half later.I know orthopedic surgery is not an enjoyable experience, but it can be made less stressful by choosing the right facility. Orthopedic Hospitals of Wisconsin is that place for me and my family!
