Wow!!! I can say my experience here was very nice very peaceful, and very Comfortable all the staff that help me today are a great help to the company. Nurse Tammy made it very easy and Calmed my mind post the Surgery. After Surgery was also nice very patient nurses as well enjoyed the snacks I asked for Peanut butter toast with Oreo cookies and a side of Apple juice

I couldn’t have asked for better care and attention, before and after my surgery. My belief in the surgeon was my #1 reason, as I’ve had a surgery by Dr. Maciolek in the past. But a big factor in who I had this surgery by had a lot to do with it being in the same facility as my previous experience. This time was no different, first in class!

Had 2 trigger finger surgery in December 2024. ALL the staff was wonderful. And I would highly recommend Dr Kornreich. If another surgery were to be needed in future I would definitely work with this hospital and Dr Kornreich.

I love going to this hospital when I need something done. I’ve had a broken wrist plated, a ruptured Achilles casted, injections using X-ray, and surgery on a cyst on my finger. I receive cortisone injections in my hip. The staff is wonderful, the doctors awesome. Very conveniently located, too. The restaurant is also quite good.

I was admitted into the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin for a carpal tunnel release surgery. The staff at this hospital are very competent and very compassionate. I felt like I was in capable hands from the moment I was checked in until the moment I left. I was a little nervous before the procedure, but the doctors and the nurses answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease before and after the procedure. From check in to surgery, recovery to discharge. The entire staff at the Hospital was amazing. So caring and so personable. They made this experience for me and my family as easy as possible. This was my fourth visit to OHOW for a joint replacement. It is difficult to fully describe the professionalism, kindness, compassion and sensitivity of every single person at OHOW. From the doctors, nurses, assistants, receptionists, schedulers, kitchen staff, chef, OT, PT, greeters each one was friendly, caring and welcoming. They were efficient and professional with all aspects of my experience pre-surgery,, surgery and post surgery. In my view this is the way medical care should be given to all humans. I so wish it could be. All humans deserve this kind of respect and high level of care. It is so encouraging and up-lifting. Both of my daughters are in health related professions and were astounded by the care I was given.

I can't begin to explain how AMAZING this entire experience was.... From the momment we walked into the hospital we were greeted by security and told exactly what was going to happen and when.. From there the entire policy and procedures was completely flawless. The entire staff and I mean entire staff from my amazing surgeon Dr. Kehoe to all my nurses Maggie, Michelle, Becca , Ursula. (I know I'm missing a few) The pharmacist Brad even went above and beyond and provided top level care. The chef Mike even showed compassion in making sure I was taken care. I cannot thank you all enough for this amazing care and love you all showed every second of my stay! This was nothing but Extraordinary! Way go TEAM! I'm forever thankful ...

Every one who assisted with my surgery were great. I can't say enough for all the did for me, from the receptionist, nurses and doctors, especially my doctor, Dr. Sean Wilson. I have had 2 procedures & my husband 1 at OHOW and they have all been very positive experiences. Everyone is very friendly, kind & professional from their security guard at the front desk, check in admin, nurses, PT techs, anesthesiologist & doctors. It really shows how much they all enjoy working there and that always makes it a better experience for the patients in my opinion. I have had orthopedic surgeries at other facilities but much prefer going to OHOW. So if you need to have an orthopedic procedure done, don't hesitate in going to the Orthopedic Hospital Of Wisconsin!

Had another great surgery experience at OHOW today! Everyone was very attentive, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable as to my specific surgery and kept me appropriately informed every step of the way as to what to expect next. A parade of nurses, techs, my surgeon, anesthesiologist, physical therapist and other medical staff all are involved in prepping me I. different aspects of the preop procedure, but they’re all spaced out nicely where I didn’t feel overwhelmed.

The only part of the surgery experience at OHOW that I was unprepared for and wasn’t as anticipated or expected, was the process of actually “getting to the operating room” — I had to actually walk myself from my private preop room down a long darkish hallway, over to my operating room and then climb onto the operating table and position myself — as opposed to other surgeries I’ve had with general anesthesia at other hospitals, the bed I was lying on in the preop room, was physically wheeled with me on it into the operating room, and I believe I was already given an IV with meds to relax me prior to being rolled into the operating room.

I just thought it was kind scary/overwhelming to literally walk myself down a long darkish hallway until I got to my specific operating room, which was extremely bright and very cold the moment I turned into it — numerous gowned medical staff were staring at me when I walked in (as they should be, obviously), but it’s a bit overwhelming when you actually walk in and see all the medical equipment, extremely bright lights, and many staff standing around the equipment with their gloved hands raised in the air and all focused and staring at you! — like they were all waiting for their next victim!

I’m pretty shy, so all the direct eye contact, was overwhelming in and of itself, not to mention worrying about everyone seeing my naked body parts climbing onto the operating table with a loose untied gown.

For other surgeries I’ve had at other hospitals, I was rolled into the operating room on my back on the rolling bed I’d been in for the last couple hours, so my eyes were directed up at the ceiling … so I didn’t really see all that equipment, staff, etc., and then I was lifted and transferred onto the operating table by them, so it was a lot less overwhelming for patients like me who are scared or apprehensive. It was far less direct eye contact and I was sedated enough beforehand to the point that I don’t think I cared what naked body parts were being exposed during the transfer.

Today was my 4th surgery at OHOW, so I was quite familiar with their operating room procedure at this point, so this time I was far less overwhelmed only because I knew what was coming and was even a bit intrigued this time at seeing all the equipment lined up and how many people are actually involved/needed for a simple bunion/foot surgery VS the 1st time at OHOW when I walked myself down the long dark hallway to the operating room, entered and climbed up onto the operating table, and was pretty much terrified and seriously considered backing out.

My surgeon Dr Wilson was terrific and I expect he gets a lot of repeat “customers” like me who are thankful for his ortho talents and love his humor! Very very thankful to my anesthesiologist who made sure I wasn’t puking

afterwards, as well as all the other dedicated medical professionals who took such great care of me!
